Brooklyn Machine & Mfg., Inc. is searching for skilled CNC Machinists to help take our expanding company to the next level. We operate day shift only, overtime pay after 40 hours, paid holidays, paid vacation, Company paid healthcare, and offer a Company/Individual performance bonus.
In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of set-up & machining experience (minimum)
- Experience in machining metals (mild steel, alloy steel, aluminum, bronze, etc.)
- Ability to read & understand CNC programs (G-Code & M-Code)
- Demonstrate ability to SET UP and operate CNC and manual equipment
- Proficient in shop math, including geometry and conversions
- Demonstrate ability to read blueprints and understand tolerance
- Demonstrate ability to use precision gages
- Knowledge of FANUC controls
- Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Willing and able to work in a drug and tobacco free, safety conscious environment
- Dependability & willingness to work overtime when requested
- Ability and willingness to train others or learn from others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
